Vor wenigen Minuten ging im Salzburger Messezentrum das “DOYOBE! Urban Bashment 2008″ zu Ende. Wie hier schon beschrieben, wurden dort jugendliche “Trends” wie Breakdance, Skateboard, Musik, Graffiti, Dirt Bike, BMX und Parkour Freerun präsentiert.
Heute Abend ging das internationale Breakdance-Battle über die Bühne. Das Team “T.I.P.” aus Südkorea konnte sich heute Abend den 1. Platz ertanzen, dicht gefolgt vom italienischen Team “Feet 4 Funk”, die den zweiten Platz belegten. Den dritten Platz teilen sich die “Bandits” (Italien) sowie die “Suptersouthics” aus Deutschland. Die österreichische Truppe erlangte den fünften Platz, oder so. (Ganz habe ich das leider nicht mehr mitbekommen.)
In Kooperation mit der Salzburger Spielemesse, vom Verein DOYOBE! (heißt so viel wie “Do Your Best!”) veranstaltet, hat unser geschätzter VJ NoPe alias Armin die Battles der Teams visuell auf der Leinwand aufbereitet. Das Team von Revolution08 sorgte für das leibliche Wohl.
Leider dauerte das Finale bis 01:00 Uhr und der angekündigte FM4-DJ muss nun in die After-Party-Location umziehen, da in der Messehalle bereits die Sperrstunde eingeläutet wurde. So bleibt uns nichts mehr anderes übrig als bereits mit dem Abbau zu beginnen - den DJ müssen wir leider auslassen.
Hier nun noch ein paar Eindrücke von dem Event.

Für laute Beats und Breaks sorgten gleich drei DJs. DJ Phekt (FM4) musste leider in die After-Party-Location umziehen.
